Research Activity

My research is focused on orbital dynamics, by means of dynamical systems theory tools, perturbation theory and numerical methods. My main lines of investigation are:

  • the design of low-energy orbits for the exploration of planet-satellite systems;
  • the role of the third-body effect in the dynamics of natural and artificial bodies;
  • space debris dynamics, with special emphasis on passive end-of-life solutions and the definition of a long-term sustainability index.
